The saltwater pool at Mona Vale is breathtaking - in both it’s location and history.
Developed in the 1930’s (but on the site of a pool dating back to the mid 1800’s) it was part of an unemployment relief scheme in the Depression. Built on a rock shelf between Bongin Bongin Bay and Mona Vale beaches it is frequently swallowed up by the incoming tide
